We have arrived in the UK after a fairley uneventful flight. Apart from Flight Centre stuffing up our booking and not seat us all together, however the ladies at the check in desk managed to sort that out. Max was fantastic sleeping for about 8 of the first 14 hours and then again sleeping for most of the second leg.

We are now in Sussex staying at My uncle and aunts place in Wivelsfield Green, Sussex. We have been out to Brighton and visiting a few friends. We are now getting over the jetlag and are planning an evening of golf and wine. We have taken some photos but they are mostly of Max!!

This Wednesday (19th August) Tash, Max and Myself are heading OS!! We are starting in England where we will spend a few days with my Uncle and Aunt in Sussex. Then we head up to London and have a couple of days in Putney with Tash's godmother before we head over to Brussels to visit Tash's family

I will hopefully have lots of great photos to post, so keep an eye on here for the updates

I have started building a remote control yacht, I am going to attempt to build it from scratch using plans that are freely available on the web. I am using the designs for the 'Vanquish' which are available from the designer Dan Sherman

I orignally started building a yacht based on the American One Meter class, until it was pointed out by a guy in the states, Hew, who has already made a Vanquish, that I would be better off making an International One Meter class as they are more widely sailed around the world. UNI Tab, through their online site, provide tips from various tipsters. I thought it would be good to have all those tips in one place so if I was ever at the races (or the pub) I could access the tips easily through my phone.

You can access these tips from this page: http://timmy8ken.com/tips. Don't try and go straight to the tips.php page as it will fail. This is my first attempt at coding with php and using regular expressions, I don't think I did too badly but if you notice anything that could be fixed let me know....not that you can see anything because it is all server side code, but if you have a feeling there is a better way of doing something, let me know!!
